It's likely she only gets away with this and her continued refusal to be even a little less blunt, relationships to diplomats aside, due to just how much she's contributed on the field.

So when, at the end of a long and trying day of kicking one of them up and down the training rooms, some idiot recruit implies she's only advanced in rank because of who she's shtupping, it ends with that same someone tossed out with their newly broken nose and her casually taping ice to her hand in her office. She never did learn how to throw a punch properly.

This cannot at all be a bad time for people to come bother her.]
