So. Some time has passed. A very high-profile wedding may have occured. And naturally, as soon as they came back, Rikus were being promoted to higher command and more desk-y position.

And being harassed by her subordinates when there were going to be kids. So here she is, in an office, telling Lumi (via phone, naturally), very flatly that she needs to actually admit she's dating the guy she got nearly sent to jail before she gets to lecture her about kids, and because she can work from home, she is doing this in a short dress and socks, instead of uniform.

This isn't going to get embarrassing when anyone comes home, clearly.]

I may be a politician, but I have a right to privacy... Besides, they can disrespect me all they want, but when they start talking about you or my sister, then I respond just the same as any man would.

[He leans back and pokes her in the nose.]

...[Wrinkling her nose, and giving him that stare that usually means she's usually about to lay someone's thought processes out in an unnerving fashion.]

Left out the part where they called my sister and I traitors and her a whore as well. He was trying to get a reaction; I imagine it was a far bit more than he expected.
